Project Reflection:For my passion, I decided to focus and learn more about portrait photography. Portrait photography was something new for me and testing with the emotions being shown from the model and playing/ experimenting with lights to add the right effect. I have always had a passion for photography. Whether it's portrait or landscape. I initially had planned was to have music portray emotions through photography. Having the model give off a feeling from a song from all genres, to show the balance with both psychology and music.
I was going to showcase my photos by displaying them the way Polaroids have been printed and creating social media accounts to get more recommendations on my photography. After assisting/observing in some photo shoots and planning out my resources. Also, creating one might call it a marketing platform, it took me awhile to find the right look for the type of photos I would be taking. Soon after I conducted multiple photo shoots and create a website to not only get viewers but further my future in photography. If I could do this project over again I would branch out and ask people from different classes, different grades to do the photo shoot. Before I went into this project I had a list of people and poses and had planned on finding a time that best fits their schedule. When it would get the time to where I had to disrupt their class, I lost all confidence and plans. In the end, I had very few models to use. Another thing would be making sure I would have enough resources to help showcase my work. I have thought a lot about what to do next with this project. I have come to a conclusion that I will still be building and adding my photos and creating a way for other photographer and other companies to see my work. This will help me in the future to expand my knowledge and learn from others. Hopefully to see a future in photography. To continue to produce more products and take suggestions on any further steps to take. |
